StoryStudio is thrilled to present the brand new combined program: StoryBoard Conference & Festival. This program combines our signature program StoryBoard (a weeklong application-based workshop intensive) with our signature event Writers Festival (a weekend festival of craft classes, panels, and social events).

For the sixth year in a row, the StoryBoard Conference is pleased to bring a host of talented authors to the Studio (five in person, and three online) for a week of workshopping, community building with your cohort and instructor, and a special discussion with all five in-person authors. 

For those that are accepted into our in-person week of the conference, your tuition will include access to the weekend Festival -- a two day event that includes Saturday's classes and panels, and Sunday's lineup of publishing education. 

This week-long program will run in-person from August 10 – 15, led by Rufi Thorpe, Deesha Philyaw, Garrard Conley, Sheree L. Greer, and Maggie Smith; followed by an online week August 17 – 22 led by Morgan Talty, Hugh Ryan, and Daniel José Older.
